Generally, when you are interested in a formal company with a dress code you want to wear professional attire too. A good idea is to look around you: what do other people wear when they work there? The general rule is pretty much standard. For men, a suit jacket with a nice white or light blue shirt and a tie (please don’t choose one with the minions or pineapples in any weird pattern). Another idea includes a sweater with a nice shirt. For women, a blouse and dress pants will be perfect. If you are confident you can even wear a nice dress. But take care: DON’T OVERDO IT. On the other hand, if you have an interview in an informal work environment then your life might be easier since an interview outfit, in this case, is not so standard. You can wear what you feel that compliments your body. Business casual outfits are less formal than a suit, but they are also more professional than a typical t-shirt with a stamp on it and let’s say shorts and sandals (please don’t ever appear to a job interview with such outfit). We would recommend wearing accessories since they show that you are taking care of yourself and you know how to dress well.
